Life Is Better When You Make Things
It brings a different kind of clarity to this thing that I call life.
Sometimes I wonder why I do all the things I did: writing, photographing, tinkering with old cameras, making YouTube videos, starting new projects that no one asked for. And suddenly the answer came to my mind: I just love creating.
There’s something about the act itself. It gives me an outlet, a little room to breathe from an adult life. It lets me experiment and play, to try and fail without any real consequence (I mean, there is a consequence on my bank account lol).
I don’t mind making something for the first time and seeing it turn out imperfect, because each attempt teaches me something new. I learn, I try again, and I get a little better every time.

It pulls me back to the days when being a child meant hours lost in drawing, building, or daydreaming, when nothing else mattered but the joy of the moment.
Growing up, we lose that so easily. Life wants us to be practical, efficient, successful. But creativity reminds me that it’s okay to be a little messy. It doesn’t have to make sense. You just need to try and create.

And the great thing is: the more I do it, the more I learn. The more I learn, the more it becomes a habit. And the more it becomes a habit, the more I want to keep doing it. It’s like turning on a light in a dim room, suddenly I see things I couldn’t see before. New connections, new possibilities. A small kind of clarity to this thing I call life.
It helps too, when life feels stuck or impossibly hard. I can’t control a lot of things, but I can pick up my camera. I can write a sentence. I can make something small and honest.
Maybe that’s why I do this. Maybe that’s why I’ll keep doing it.
Life is better when you make things.
Now go and create.

This reminds me that we need to learn from the curiousity and creativity of children: no fear of failing, only pure joy. Keep creating, Raufan!
love this and 1000% agree! Making things is all the fun
